It’s only 1 week away from Christmas and you haven’t made anything for your friends yet? No worries man, let us share with you a Christmas hat pattern that’s fast to make and very pretty! This is an easy pattern provided that you have already attended our Tiny Rabbit Hole’s Beginner (Level 2) workshops or equivalent! If you have not, feel free to visit our Youtube to learn how to crochet a simple round ball.
Materials
[Yarn A] Katia Gatsby Gold or Champagne Metallic Yarn
[Yarn B] White Fairy Floss Yarn
2.2mm 3/0 crochet hook
3.5mm 6/0 crochet hook
Yarn needle

Instructions
- Our amigurumi are mostly done in continuous rounds starting with a Magic Ring. You don’t need to end with a slip stitch. You should use a stitch marker to mark the last stitch of every round at all times.
- You may wish to download the Counter+ app to help you with your counting.
- Please crochet the stitches tightly to prevent stuffing from showing. However, do not crochet too tightly otherwise it’ll be difficult to continue
- Be sure to push the washer down only the first screw of the eye to prevent bulging.
- Always stuff your amigurumi firmly till the point that it feels bouncy.
- Always leave long tail for sewing.

Cone hat
Using Yarn A and 2.2mm Crochet Hook
R1: sc 4 into Magic Ring (4sts)
R2: [sc 1, inc] 2x……………………….. (6sts)
R3: [sc 2, inc] 2x……………………….. (8sts)
R4: [sc 3, inc] 2x……………………….. (10sts)
R5: [sc 4, inc] 2x……………………….. (12sts)

End with a slst and a ch. Cut yarn and pull the yarn tail through the last stitch all the way. Do not sew or weave in the stitches.
White fluffy round
Using Yarn B and 3.5mm Crochet Hook
Slst into the stitches in the last second round for 2 rounds to make the fluffy part thicker. After you’re done, leave a long length (as long as your forearm) and cut it.
Pompom
Step 1
Insert the remaining white fairy floss yarn into the yarn needle and we’re going to make pompom on top of the hat. Insert the yarn through the tip of the hat from the inside.
Step 2
Find any stitch that’s very close to the tip of the hat and go through it. This is to secure the yarn.
Step 3
Next, wound the yarn around the tip of the hat (it’s very similar to how you tie a hairbun). Keep going until it starts to become a little bigger.
Step 4
Use the yarn needle to stitch in and out of the little pompom to secure it. Keep repeating the steps until you have achieved the size that you like.
Step 5
Once you’re done, insert the hook into any visible stitch very close to the fairy floss yarn and push it through to the inside of the hat.
Finishing
Cut away any remaining yarn and you may insert your bobby pin at the base of your hat.
Now it’s completed! Place a hat on your best friend’s head and it’ll just look as pretty as our Amigurumi Dog!
