6 months have passed since we first launched our Granny Square Block Stitch Tote Bag class! We’re so happy that our students had a smile on their faces once they finished this tote bag, which is like their everyday bag. They shared what they gonna put in there, where can they carry the bag to, etc. It is indeed – an everyday bag.
Our long-time friend, now also our crochet teacher for her self-designed crochet bags, is making every girl’s heart flutter! Because she KNOWS what colours suit you best. This special friend of ours is Karen Chan of HipP’s Craft! Karen has crocheted since her secondary school times, and it was not until 10 years ago that she decided to pursue crochet as her interest more seriously. She always shares how she will crochet in lectures with her project under the table, eyes looking forward, but still getting caught by the teachers as they saw her shoulders moving =D
Karen was trained in Fashion Marketing at Raffles Lasalle Institute. She has a strong interest in Japan art and textile design and her approach is always something extraordinary given how granny squares are getting more and more common and expected these days.
So for those of you who have popped by our shop and was in awe with our Granny Square classes, do keep a watch out for our monthly update of classes – only 4 seats available monthly.
And those of you who have been checking in with us day in day out about the pattern, we hope to disappoint you no more! We have finally completed the pattern after going through several rounds of FAQ’s from students. This pattern can never be more perfect. The pattern is available on our website.
We hope to see your projects so do tag both @tinyrabbithole and @hipps_craft when you’re attempting this lovely pattern!
This pattern is a collaborative project.
