Tiny Rabbit Hole - Let's make some magic! ~ The Bachelorette Amigurumi Workshop in Singapore 2017

Welcome to The Tiny Rabbit Hole! Our hidden burrow had been discovered for the first time this year! This time, by 6 lovely maidens who’s out for a different experience. Humans are such a rare sight! We learnt that one of them, Tracy, will be tying the knot in a couple of weeks. And her bridesmaid2be, Shara, thought, instead of having a generic bachelorette party with just booze, let’s do something fun and meaningful. Let’s taint our hands with magical dust!

Shara searched and searched, deeper and wilder into the woods she wondered. Eventually, Shara and her friends found the entrance to our secret home world. Tracy, the bride2be and her 5 bridesmaids2be were welcomed by our cuties of the day – Unicorn, Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Yoda, Tutu (and his girlfriend), Rilakkuma and the Dango Daikazoku! Angie our Amigurumi master was ready to share some of her secrets in creating these magical creatures. The girls were mesmerised by the beauty of our unicorn but realised that they did not have enough magical powers to create their own yet. Maybe they can do it next time. Instead, why not make a family of Dangos. Isn’t that more representative for the decades of friendship?

The Dango Daikazoku is a VERY VERY COMPLICATED family and we also dunno why they’re a family. Some has chunky brows, some are nekos, some even came from Andromeda! I can’t even relate them! Maybe because they all look marui (round), kawaii and oishii?

The 5 bridesmaids2be gonna create a Dango with their very own design while Tracy wanted her favourite Rilakkuma version. Yes. When it comes to Dango, let’s go crazy with DNA mixing! We are all mad scientists!

It’s a joy to see how everyone gets creative with the design and go crazy with the styling. Not even the sky is the limit (considering Bibiko comes from a faraway star). Let’s have a sneaky peeky through our hidden cameras:
